How often do you use the nav bar? I’ve been to countless site redesign meetings where the least visited parts of the site are section fronts. And how do you get to a section front? The nav bar. Which, I believe, has seen better days. The best example of this is Gawker media sites. You won’t find any traditional navigation at www.gawker.com. You won’t find a nav bar!
